Course Objectives:

After completing this class, students will be able to:

• Offer solutions for failed inspections involving roof, termite, electrical, or building code issues.
• Distinguish between closing procedures for conventional contracts, cash purchases, and HUD/VA-financed transactions.
• Provide strategies to resolve correctable title issues for a timely closing.
• Prepare a net sheet showing the buyer’s required cash to close and the seller’s net proceeds based on provided price and terms.
• Develop a detailed timeline of steps from contract acceptance to closing for all parties involved (Listing Broker, Selling Broker, Buyer, Seller).
• Identify a broker’s options for resolving escrow disputes over deposit funds.
